Since we first launched in Austin in 2006, we’ve been helping people discover the best live music, drink specials, and good times their city has to offer. From those early days working out of a South Austin woodshed and paying our technical co-founder in cases of Lone Star, we’ve grown to 16 (and counting) North American cities and millions of users.

Today we’re proud to announce our next big endeavor with the launch of the DoStuff App for iOS. The DoStuff App is the first dedicated mobile app for the DoStuff Network, and your essential tool for finding awesome stuff to do while on the go.

After eight weeks in early invite mode, the app is now available to the public to download for free in the App Store. (If you’re not an iPhone user, hold tight -- the Android version of the DoStuff App is coming soon!)

New App-Only Features

The DoStuff App includes the same event listings and recommendations you love from your favorite DoStuff metro plus a number of new app-only features:

• Map View: Find what’s going on around you right now using the new map view. Browse event categories by your current location or zoom in on a place in the map to find the best stuff going on in a particular neighborhood.

• Discover Tab: Break out of your comfort zone! Check out event recommendations, view curated city guides, and keep up on the latest in local music, art, and culture -- all from people who live it everyday.

• Redesigned Profile: Add upcoming events to your personal calendar, follow your favorite artists to receive notifications about show announcements, and save your favorite lists and articles to check out later.

• All of DoStuff in One App: Get the same local experience while you’re on the road. Switch between cities to do Austin, Portland, New York, LA, Toronto, Mexico City, and more like a local.

We’re celebrating the launch of the app this month with a tour of 16 parties around the U.S., Canada, and Mexico featuring major acts like Dan Deacon, The Hood Internet, and araabMUZIK.
