Your job is to generate useful, timely and engaging content across Do303’s channels. Whether that’s by adding events to the site, sending email blasts, or engaging with users on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, your goal is to make Do303 the best possible resource for answering the question: “what am I going to do tonight in Denver and Boulder?”.
We’re looking for a hyper-organized, detail-oriented all-star who is completely immersed in Denver & Boulder’s cultural landscape. You’ll become the primary voice of an established brand with 28K email subscribers, 15K social followers and 40K monthly visitors -- and you will continually increase engagement across all channels through your effectiveness and wit.
You’ll be working out of Do303’s office in Denver and supported by DoStuff’s team in Austin, as well as the other brilliant minds at DoStuff cities around the country.
Your core duties are fourfold:
Adding events to Do303
Creating calendar scrapers
Managing queues of incoming events
Helping users add events
Scouring the internet for events to add
Curating collections of events
Evergreen lists like Top Picks, Free, On Sales
Useful categories like Happy Hours and Comedy
Seasonal lists like Halloween and New Year’s Eve
Putting these events in front of people (lots of people)
Via Social Media:
Via Email Blasts
Daily and dedicated emails
Growing Do303’s audience
Running giveaway and RSVP promotions.
Generating brilliant short-form editorial content.
Creating innovative social media content.
Executing partnership programs like ticket pre-sales and festival flyaways.
Reporting and analyzing Do303’s audience growth.
Thinking of things that we haven’t thought of.
A Denver & Boulder resident with a strong knowledge of local culture (concerts, happy hours, restaurants, etc).
A strong short-form writer with a defined voice.
Aware of more local, regional and national bands, artists and comedians than you can possibly name.
Detail oriented. You can spot a typo before all of your friends.
Following the BEST people, bands and brands on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Going out regularly -- to concerts, comedy, events, restaurants, happy hours and more.
In love with Colorado.
In the flow of Denver & Boulder news and culture.
Intrinsically motivated. You don’t need someone looking over your shoulder to be productive and efficient.
Maintaining social media accounts that would blow us away.
Really good with email.
Regularly reading music and culture websites like BrooklynVegan, Noisey, Pitchfork and The Fader.
Bonus points if you:

Have a proven track record of increasing digital audience.
Know your way around Google Analytics.
