DoStuff Live Events Sales Account Executive • Do615 + Do502

DoStuff is a national network of media properties run by local teams in 20 cities that help 110+ million people a year answer the question; “What are we going to DO tonight?” Our audience tends to be young (21-35), social, influential and love to discover new things in and about their city. In 2019, we launched DoMORE, a monthly ticketing subscription product where our members receive a pair of tickets to a local live event every month for just $5 a month. It’s a great tool to help our fans get out and discover even MORE cool stuff in their city.

The Role

You’ll be selling Do615, Do502 and DoMORE to local promoters, venues and event creators of all kinds to help them drive ticket sales and attendees to their events.. This role is primarily focused on creating and servicing local live event partnerships (e.g., concerts, sports, pop-up experiences, cultural exhibits and museums, activations, fairs/festivals, new movie releases, etc.). You’ll be supported by DoStuff’s team in Austin and the other great people at DoStuff cities around the country.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their campaigns are a success and develop further, on-going business. Become an expert in how live event promoters/marketers run their business. Be able to provide custom solutions for them for every stage of the event cycle from: event announcement > starting their ticket selling cycle > marketing push > ticket selling cycle closing > live event plays off.

  • Monitor the live event landscape locally and become an expert on what is happening – constantly scouring ticketing sites (e.g., Ticketmaster, Live Nation, Eventbrite, AXS, etc.). Monitor discount platforms that transact tickets and promote events (e.g., Goldstar, Groupon, Yelp premium, Facebook, etc.).

  • Prospect and build targeted lists across local & regional live events and local business verticals as well as new partnerships and fresh ticket inventory with local event promoters as the landscape evolves for our DoMORE subscription service.

  • Sell digital marketing campaigns to local & regional businesses looking to make an impact in your city.

  • Responsible for sourcing DoMORE ticket allocations across all existing live event partnerships and monitoring monthly ticket inventories – doing regular follow-ups with partners to secure new/additional ticket inventory, as needed.

  • Work closely with local/regional Account Managers to fulfill sold client programs and ensure flawless client service and delivery.

  • Use our CRM platform to manage a pipeline or media partners and secure ticket inventory.

  • Develop sales proposals and contracts.

  • Hit aggressive monthly, quarterly & annual sales quotas.
