DoStuff runs 22 local event guides (Do312, DoNYC, DoLA, etc.) and a Ticket Membership that drives millions of event attendees a year. Our local teams make us a trusted part of the local scene, and our tech platform ensures we’re introducing people to the best stuff to do.

This is a part-time position based in Austin, TX.

The Role:

DoStuff is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented part-time Office Manager/Bookkeeper based in Austin to support our dynamic team. The role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our office and financial processes, contributing to the overall success of our mission. The role requires approximately 10 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mail Management:
    • Receive and open mail, ensuring timely and accurate distribution to relevant team members

    • Deposit checks via scanner promptly and accurately

    • Respond to inquiries from various agencies in states where we conduct business, maintaining professional and effective communication

  • Accounts Payable/Receivable:

    • Address general AP/AR questions from the internal team, customers, and vendors via email, ensuring clarity and resolution of queries

    • Assist in maintaining accurate records of transactions, ensuring all financial data is up-to-date and compliant with company policies

  • Bookkeeping:

    • Handle occasional bookkeeping tasks (primary bookkeeping/accounting is already managed, but the occasional tasks may arise)

  • Special Projects:

    • Assist with special projects as time allows, such as data cleanup, research, process documentation, etc.

About You / You Have:

  • Experience with QuickBooks Online

  • Strong written communication skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Ownership mindset

  • Experience working at a small company doing operations/finance work
