DoStuff Sales Account Executive • DoNYC + Do617

DoStuff is a network of local media properties run by local teams in 20 cities. 7 million people a month across those cities use our local daily emails, apps, websites & social handles to answer the question: “What am I going to do tonight?”

You’ll be selling DoNYC & Do617 to local promoters, businesses and brands who need an authentic local voice to help them reach 21-35 year olds through branded content, partnerships & media.

You’ll be supported by DoStuff’s team in Austin and the other great people at DoStuff cities around the country.

You Must Be:

  • Experienced: Proven experience creating and selling integrated programs that involve sponsored content and media. Successfully exceeded aggressive sales goals. Experience creating Media Plans and Deliverables is a plus!

  • Self-motivated: Able to excel & problem solve without close direct supervision

  • Connected: Great relationships and track records with key local contacts

  • Team Player: You’ll need to work well with the team that is delivering the solutions you’re selling.

  • Excellent Communicator: You have to be able to create great decks, deliver pitches and clearly communicate our value

  • Money Motivated: You should know what this means and it should be a driver for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prospect and build targeted lists across local & regional business verticals.

  • Sell integrated campaigns to local & regional businesses / brands looking to make an impact in NYC & Boston.

  • Collaborate with local businesses to create custom programs to meet their business needs.

  • Develop sales proposals and contracts.

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their campaigns are a success and develop further, on-going business.

  • Hit aggressive monthly, quarterly & annual sales quotas.

  • Experience with Hubspot, Asana and Google Apps a plus
