DoStuff • Sales Development & Marketing Coordinator

Location: Austin, TX

DoStuff is a network of local media properties run by local teams in 20 cities. 7 million people a month across those cities use our local daily emails, apps, websites & social handles to answer the question: “What am I going to do tonight?”

As DoStuff's Sales Development & Marketing Coordinator, you will work with the pre- and post-sales process to assist in generating quality leads and programs for the sales team that are a win-win for both DoStuff and our clients.

This role is a sales and marketing hybrid that involves both generating and developing new leads for our Sales team, as well as artfully creating integrated content+media+experiential programs and translating those into client facing media plans and pitches.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with our sales organization to develop marketing programs that achieve our clients goals. This includes campaign ideation, building and presenting collateral, and assisting the Account Management team with mapping out execution.

  • Develop sales materials - pitch decks & media plans - that effectively tell this story to new and potential advertising partners.

  • Assist in translating this story to our program delivery team to ensure each program’s success.

  • Sit in on calls with Clients to assist in program explanation and media plan deliverables.

  • Create case studies from successful programs.

  • Generate lead lists for assigned markets and verticals through identifying appropriate points of contact.

  • Market research to identify new leads and verticals for DoStuff.

  • Respond, engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries before passing to appropriate sales rep.

  • Initiate contact to potential clients through cold outreach.

Who You Are:

  • Ambitious with an unwavering “can do” attitude

  • A story teller with strong copywriting and copy editing skills.

  • Experience building media plans, pro formas or business analysis in Google Sheets or Excel

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Proven experience in digital media marketing or sales with an understanding of how to market a brand/product

  • Proven business development success through effective use of core sales tools: HubSpot, Asana, LinkedIn, Keynote, Google Apps, Microsoft Excel,

  • Ability to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently

  • Active interest in music entertainment, pop culture, social trends, and branding

  • Collaborative: happy and willing to work with others
