About the Amplification Project:
In 2020, DoStuff awarded $1 Million Dollars in media support to 325 Grantees across 9 US cities to event partners who were impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. While the world has continued to shift, DoStuff remains committed to empowering and uplifting local communities, voices, and efforts.

Our Mission:
DoStuff is proud to announce the DoStuff Amplification Project 2.0 -- A social equity media grant to businesses and DO’ers that support the local community.
In continuation from the first Amplification Project in 2020, the DoStuff Network is offering free promotional support to help amplify local businesses, events, fundraisers, and organizations that are BIPOC/LGBTQIA+/differently abled owned. The efforts of this grant were assembled by DoStuff’s Intersectionality Committee, formed in 2020, to help center marginalized voices within the internal and external workings of DoStuff Media.
We’re all about getting our users to go out and do awesome stuff every day in our beloved cities. The Amplification Project is our way to uplift and keep our partners top of mind while we all navigate out of these uncharted waters and keep our community strong.
It's time to get them back to what they do best, create inclusive spaces for all to do awesome stuff.
How it Works:
We will be granting media packages (value $2,500 USD/CAD) to highlight your business, event, Livestream, take-out service, fundraiser, or other creative stuff you are working on! Our media packages are designed to promote your endeavors to help reach new patrons, and creatives looking to do awesome stuff in their community.
Grant Recipients Must:
Supply creative/ads for your campaign
Tag @DoStuff / @Do(the city that you're in) on all social platforms, so we can repost!
Use hashtag #amplificationproject on all social platforms.
Fine print:
*Sorry, no money will be given out, just media credit to use to promote your stuff.
*If you were awarded a grant in 2020 or 2021, you can apply for support in 2023.
*You can only receive 1 grant per year, this allows us to help with more projects.
*Organization/Business must reside in one of the following cities to be eligible: Austin, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, Nashville, Dallas, San Antonio, Boston, Seattle, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Portland, Louisville, San Diego, Vancouver, and Victoria
