Welcome to 2025.
This post is a little different than our usual content. It is, as an equinologist might be all too excited to say, “a horse of a different stripe.” As is immediately apparent, the logo says DidStuff, which is not the tense we typically deal in.
What’s up with that? Are we implementing some sort of poorly thought-out pivot into becoming a company that solely promotes events that have already happened…?
Nah. We’re simply using this time to recap the big-picture stuff of our 2024. We did some great work, and before we march any further into 2025, we’d like to tell you about it.
An equinologist is a person who studies horses.
Here's what we've been up to:
WE ARE CONTENT WITH OUR CONTENT
TOP GIVEAWAYS
2024 was truly The Year of the Giveaway. Not in any officially recognized zodiac-type capacity, but hot damn, did our audience enjoy ‘em. This isn’t surprising, our Top 5 Giveaways hooked up winners coast to coast with exclusive prizes to:
- Do312: Riot Fest
- Do713: Usher
- DoTheBay: System of a Down + Deftones
- Do816: Drake
- DoNYC: Williamsburg Staycation
‘Tis Better to Giveaway than to Receive.

TOP FESTIVALS
Do people still enjoy going to festivals? Uh, we’ll answer that obvious question with another obvious question: Does an equinologist study horses? The answer is a resounding “Hell yeah, they do.” 2024’s biggest festivals were:
Catch you at the rail next year.

TOP EDITORIALS
Look, we live and breathe our cities. Whatever’s going on that’s good is what we’re going to share with our readers. This year, our collective audience’s favorite content was:
People absolutely love visiting a museum when it’s on the house. Not on a house, though. Free. Important distinction.

TOP MEMES / SOCIAL POSTS
As much as we love hyping up our cities, sometimes making fun of them is just as great. You’ve got to really adore something to lampoon it accurately, right? We were especially proud of our memes from this year that blew up locally. Here they are, in all their probably-soon-to-not-be-topical-anymore glory:
Veni, Vedi, Meme.

WE PARTNERED UP
If partnerships were actual ships, 2024 would’ve been a cruise ship. Likewise, if that metaphor had made any sense, it would be a whole lot more satisfying to read. BE THAT AS IT MAY, we did indeed have some exceptional partnerships in 2024. From pop stars to festivals to slaycations, the biggest of the year were:
- Network-wide: Bourbon & Beyond
- Network-wide: Cyndi Lauper
- DoNYC: Dua Lipa
- Network-wide: LGBTQ Partnerships with Manscapers + West Elm: Plant Daddy
- Network-wide: LGBTQ Partnerships with Voss Events: The Ultimate Las Vegas Slaycation

WE'RE PARTY TO BLAME
Pardon our French, but live events are our entire raison d'être. When we get the chance to throw them ourselves, you better believe we’re giddy. In this regard, 2024 did not disappoint. We had the opportunity to team up, plan, and ultimately execute some parties with brands that could most aptly be described as really friggin’ fun. Again, pardon our French. Our top events of the year were:
- Do312 with Stella Artois: Hot Ones pop-ups
- Do312 with Javi's: Yappy Hours
- DoNYC, DoLA, Do615, Do215, Do604, Do317 with various: Neighborhood Sessions
- Do713, Do215 with various: Rock ‘N’ Roll Holiday Markets

WE DidMORE THAN EVER
Yes, we DidStuff in 2024. But perhaps more than anything else, we DidMORE. Our monthly ticketing membership DoMORE sent out a staggering 604,226 Pairs of Tickets. If you’ll allow us to crunch the numbers there for a minute, that’s… 1,208,452 Individual Tickets. That’s a hell of a lot of people going to a hell of a lot of shows.
This year also has the distinction of being the one in which DoMORE’s official mascot, DoWEE was conjured into existence. Where do DoWEEs come from? What do DoWEEs eat? What do DoWEEs desire most in this crazy old world? We’re still working out some (all) of the lore, but rest assured, answers are coming. We have a feeling 2025 is going to be a big year for these little tickets we’ve so lovingly anthropomorphized.

Thought we were done talking about DoWEE? WRONG!
In 2024, we worked with the Tennessee Titans to test a new concept for a “Golden Ticket” perk available for all DoMORE members. The winner received a flyaway trip to Nashville to see Post Malone on his F-1 Trillion Tour at the Nissan Stadium.
Ashley K was our first lucky winner, and she and her boyfriend had a great weekend in Music City.
But they won’t be the last winners! Afterward, we all high-fived an appropriate number of times and got to work on making the experience even better for 2025. Hence, we’re bringing back the “Golden Ticket” perk for DoMORE members and, obviously, changing the name to Golden DoWEE.
Throughout the year, all DoMORE members will once again have the opportunity to enter to win exclusive sweepstakes, and we’ll be using that perk as we promote DoMORE to audiences in all of our metros. We don’t have details on each of the contests yet, which means there’s still time to get involved. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.
Thank you for reading this email and for Doing Stuff with us.
We would also like to thank God, the universe, or the simulation for horses. They are so beautiful.
