What You’ll Do

Each day as a DoStuff Texas Intern starts with a focus on keeping our website, newsletter, and social channels fresh, engaging, and accurate. With lots of eyes on our content, we’ll count on you to help maintain quality and consistency across the board.

You’ll be involved in many aspects of our content and operational process, from brainstorming to execution. We’re looking for someone ambitious, detail-oriented, and full of creative energy. You should be excited about discovering cool events, understanding audience behavior, and finding new ways to connect with people online and IRL. Expect to attend shows and events, contribute ideas, and explore what makes each Texas market tick.

The Role:

DoStuff is seeking a highly motivated, sales-driven General Manager to lead Do312 by building relationships, increasing sales, and growing our audience. Your core responsibility is to drive revenue by selling advertising and partnerships, building long-term client relationships, and ensuring Do312 hits ambitious revenue targets. You will also oversee audience growth, cultural relevance, and local team management.

The ideal candidate is both a proactive salesperson and a strategic operator—someone who can identify new business opportunities, close deals, and build a strong pipeline, while also ensuring that Do312 remains a vital part of Chicago’s cultural fabric. You’ll be the face of Do312, attending events, building key relationships, and staying ahead of trends to create opportunities for both advertisers and the audience.

What You’ll Do:

As General Manager, you’ll own the growth and success of Do312, with responsibilities spanning four key areas:

1. Revenue Growth & Strategy

Goal: Build long-term partnerships and drive revenue growth while enhancing the Do312 product.

The Role:

This position is available as a full-time, part-time, or contract-based role, with the flexibility to work from any of DoStuff’s U.S. cities.

We’re looking for a Sales Executive to build and grow revenue by selling marketing and sponsorship solutions to venues, promoters, brands, and agencies. Whether representing a local DoStuff market or selling national brand integrations, this role is about building meaningful partnerships, driving revenue, and shaping the entertainment landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage client relationships with venues, promoters, brands, agencies, and local businesses to help them reach DoStuff’s engaged audience.

  • Sell integrated marketing campaigns that include digital media, experiential activations, influencer collaborations, editorial features, and social content.

  • Prospect and secure new business by identifying opportunities across concerts, festivals, sports, nightlife, pop-ups, cultural exhibits, and brands, while retaining and renewing existing business.
